Conditions of sale

Goods remain the property of Orchard Fencing Ltd, until paid for in full.

It is the buyers responsibility to inspect delivered/collected items and notify our staff immediately of any damages, unsuitability or shortage of goods. If our staff members are not notified of any issues arising prior to you leaving our branch with your goods, or prior to us departing your location after delivery; the goods will be classed as sold and that sale is final. Refunds/Exchanges are not permitted if goods are supplied correctly.

Wood is prone to warping due to changes in moisture content and environmental conditions. Warping can manifest in different forms such as bowing, kinking, twisting, cupping, or crooking. While we take measures to minimize warping through proper drying techniques and finishing processes, we cannot guarantee complete prevention of this natural occurrence.

The natural variations in wood grain, knots, and texture can result in colour inconsistencies among timber products. Additionally, factors like exposure to light, and ageing may cause variations in the colour and appearance of the wood over time. We do not provide a warranty or guarantee regarding the precise colour of our timber products.

Wood is a living material that responds to changes in temperature and humidity by expanding or contracting. These fluctuations may lead to small movements, cracks, or changes in the physical appearance of the product. While we strive to supply the best quality products available, these natural occurrences are inherent to timber products.

To minimise the effects of warping and other issues, we recommend that you avoid placing them near sources of heat that could exacerbate these natural tendencies. Proper storage techniques and regular maintenance can help preserve the quality of your timber items.

Please note that due to the unique characteristics of wood, no two pieces will be exactly alike, and minor variations should be expected as part of the beauty of natural materials.

Any claim for items listed on an invoice are limited to the cost of the product itself. Orchard Fencing Ltd is not responsible for any costs associated with the installation, rectification or any additional work required to install, repair or adapt the product.

We strive to deliver all orders within 7 days of the order date (excluding Bank Holidays). However, please note that delivery times may vary based on factors such as product availability, delivery location, and unforeseen circumstances. While we make every effort to meet the 7-day delivery window, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates or times. In the event of any delays beyond our control, we will notify you promptly and provide updates on the status of your order. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to ensure timely deliveries. Please feel free to contact our team at any of our branches if you have any questions or concerns regarding your order or delivery timeline.

Shortages or damaged goods must be reported to the driver on delivery.

Our delivery service is limited to kerbside delivery only. We are not authorised to enter private land, driveways, or any area beyond the boundary of the public road. The delivery will be completed at the kerb or edge of the public road closest to the address provided.

You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and clear of any obstructions that could prevent us from delivering to the kerbside. If our driver determines that access is unsafe or restricted, we may be unable to complete the delivery.

Our vehicles and Drivers are not allowed to leave the public highway onto client premises.

While we strive to meet delivery timeframes, delivery times are an estimate and may vary due to factors outside of our control, such as traffic or weather conditions. We do not guarantee an exact delivery time and will notify you of any significant delays. If you require your products on a specific date, we ask that you choose an earlier date to make certain your goods are on site for the date needed.
